Part one, Caring for Your Cat, opens with a brief history of the cat, from wild predator to domestic friend, and goes on to cover in detail every important topic that any responsible owner needs to be aware of. Alan Edwards - Author

Alan Edwards has been a judge for three decades with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy in Great Britain and continues to be a frequent international judge worldwide. Alan’s ex-wife June is also a GCCF and international judge. The Edwards bred British Shorthairs, Oriental Shorthairs, Siamese aand Silver Persians under the prefix “Taliesin” which was granted to them in 1970.

Trevor Turner - Consultant

Trevor Turner BvetMed, MRCVS, MCIrb, MABE is a Chief Vet at Crufts. A veterinary surgeon for over 40 years, he also breeds and shows cats and dogs. Retired from general practice, he is a speaker at professional and breed seminars on all aspects of cat care. For his work in the advancement of feline and canine practice he has received awards from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and the British Small Animal Veterinary Association.
